Surf School in El Salvador - AST El Salvador offers a perfect option for beginners and intermediate surfers who want to improve their surfing skills. AST has the best staff of guides and surfing instructor's team that will help you learn how to catch the best waves and guide you to the next level of surfing.
Beginners Season
At La Libertad beginners season goes from Mid October to Mid of March, this is because of during this season is when El Salvador coast line gets the smaller waves, which are the apropriates for beginners surfers.
Most days lessons take place at the lovely beach in front of our brand new accommodation which is Playa La Paz, but the surf school is also completely mobile, meaning that lessons can be held at the most suitable spot up or down the coast, depending on daily surf conditions and students abilities.
With our surf lessons program, students learn about:
- Safety and ocean awareness
- How waves and swells are created
- Tide changes and conditions
- Seasons
- Wave riding
- Paddling
- Priority rules
- And all other information needed for you to practice safely this amazing sport
Surf lessons are in small groups, with a ratio of 1 instructor for 3 students maximum. This way you get the best tuition and really improve your surfing skills. All our surf instructors are well experienced with more than five years teaching and over fifteen years of surf!
